Accident in Alabama!

About 5:00pm bama time

Ridgeley had a disagreement with the

asphalt and lost! He was riding his

rip stick that he got for Christmas

and got to going too fast, got scared and jumped

off; needless to say he took on the wrong thing!

We had to rush him to the Emergency room

because his knee was cut open! He cut

it all the way down to the tendon (it was not

damaged-thank God). He cut all the muscle

and everything! Yuck! There are pictures of his

leg posted on facebook from my phone.

Anyway, turns out that Ridge was stuck 15 times

in and around the laceration to get it numb. He

didn't even cry-he's tougher than me!

He received 24 stitches in his wound! Praise

God for his hand of protection and all he needed

was stitches. I thank him that he was watching over

my boy and kept anything serious from happening.

Mom learned a lesson in all this; he will have the

protective pads and helmet that he needs before

using the rip stick again.
